How does Japan marketplace vs USA marketplace work? I know on the PS3, if you change your address to a Japanese address you can view the Japanese PSN store.

I don't remember if I even added an address to my Xbox Live profile. Probably did, just forgot where.

I guess I'm lucky that I bought Virtual On on the USA marketplace but it lets me play with players from Japan. Otherwise I'd have no one to play with since only players in Japan play this game.
