No it doesn't. Just d/l a program called "WinX Free MP4 to AVI Converter". It's very easy to use and works great.

I checked some other forums and apparently some people can play them and some people can not. It might depend on the file.

The only way I can get them to play is to convert them (or any other file) so it would run on an iPad...then it works.

not all mp4's have worked on my 360 but majority do
