Every Summer there's at least 1-2 games that come out early in the year that get me through the summer.

This is not the case at all this year. In fact I haven't used my Xbox 360 in 3 weeks till yesterday. This is compared to being on it every day.

Sure there's been some good games but it's boring since there been their done that games.

I thought Mass Effect 3 and Silent Hill: Downpour (after they both went on sale) were worth the price of admission.

I'm also about to start the Darkness 2 which has a very good reputation.

*edit*

Also, if you have any other systems and are a JRPG fan, Tales of Graces F and Xenoblade are worth a look. And assuming you don't have it for the PC, there's the Witcher 2.

Is medicore so hardcore that it's medically hardcore or what?

This gen is in the process of dying. This is what happens to every gen eventually. I love how people act surprised even though its been this way for well over 2 decades.

Take a Ferrari. Pretty good car, but way expensive. Now let's take a Civic. It's an equally good car, but not as sporty looking-PhoenixPrince

I actually have to agree with the TC. The only game I have bought this year was Mass Effect 3. It was pretty disappointing (not including the ending). I was not all that fascinated with Dragon's Dogma myself.

I do find it hilarious that people seem to think that just because Dragon's Dogma came out, this year is not so mediocre. One game that may be good out of six months of possible others games to shine. Someone is slacking.

For my gaming interests this year has been pretty lackluster, and everything I was looking forward to has been delayed. Sleeping Dogs and Assassin's Creed 3 are the two big games I'm after now.

Medio-core, it's not forsaken
The music they're makin'
Will leave you with a feeling of indifference
How was the band?
They were okay (Okay, All Right)
Not great
But pretty good
They played the songs I knew they would

Some old, some new, the same formula, stay true
We can concur, it's mediocre

Sing, sing a song, make it simple
So all the kids can sing along, sing along

The list keeps growin'
The melody's been stolen
Remind me of songs sung in the seventies
You might fool the kids, but you don't fool me
Have you ever heard of something called aboriginality?

Is it absurd to compose music no ones ever heard?
Predictability like a bosom will confront them
My one true foe, el CD, medio-core

It's overpowered, the riffs are all devoured
Spreading faster than British tooth-decay
"Are you ready to rock?" "How you all doin' tonight?"
You condescending f_cks make me wanna laugh and puke
At the same time

I'm one to speak
This song sounds like 50 you've heard before, medio-core

Sing, sing a song, make it simple
So all the kids can sing along, sing along
