TV Issues

Ok I got this Toshiba LED Tv for my dorm room. Its fine with my Wii, but whne I play my PS3 and 360, I get the loud screeching sound from it and it goes away when I mute the tv. Is there a problem with my tv, and can I attach speakers to it to stop this sound?

sounds like an issue with the TV's sound processors. If possible, try to exchange it first.

I would, but it was a gift, so could a speaker fix the issue, or am I screwed.

How are each hooked up? Have you tried different ports?

All are hooked up next to each other, and are tightly placed in each other. None are loose to touching one another.

I meant cable-wise.

If you cant fix it then bypass it. Buy a cheap sound system that is compatible with the Xbox. Most likely will sound better anyway.

Check the audio out options on your systems. Make sure they are set to out stereo out and not a surround sound setting.
