Gunvalkyrie2 posted...sonic fighters was on some sonic collection - it was bad..not sonic r bad..but nothing special. 5 out of 10 range.
Hey now...I loved Sonic R with a passion! Immerse tracks, different character abilities, speed and handling, hidden characters you can unlock then save to the Saturn's eternal memory, Super Sonic that game kicked all kinds of ass. It was my favorite Sonic game for a long time before I played Sonic CD and Adventure came out.
Sonic Fighters is great for some of us Arcade enthusiasts. Always wanted to own Sonic The Fighters but... despite teh fact that I own (and still own) a Gamecube I couldn't get behind those rubbish controllers! Now that I own an Arcade stick for 360 I can enjoy it with the greatest of ease. However the biggest news in this article is FIGHTING EFFING VIPERS!!!! Not Sonic Fighters. Sega only created an Arcade perfect port for the PS2 (Japan-only) which pissed me off. But now that exclusivity has been broken and now I can play it on my 360 using my Arcade stick. Score!
I'm happy to also have the opportunity to play VF2 the Arcade version! Now all we need is Last Bronx, Virtua Cop and Sega's Virtua Fighter 4 FINAL TUNED NOT EVOLUTION!!! Final Tuned is the better game.
