Halo 4: 9/10 Borderlands 2: 7/10 Resident Evil 6: 4/10 Uncharted Golden Abyss: 8/10 Tales of Destiny II/Eternia: 9/10 --- XBL/PSN: DocDrazen Awaiting: Tales of Xillia, Ni No Kuni, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Halo 4, Zone of the Enders HD
Huge improvement over Oblivion except for story and guild quests. Huge replayability but suffers from some annoying bugs and glitches. I've sunk at least 150+ hrs into it.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Collector's Edition): 10/10
Nearly perfect use of the Wii motion(+) controls that highlight what the Wii was suppose to be. Great design, great prequel and all around great (What can I say? I'm a huge Zelda fan). Despite all this, it isn't in my top 3 Zeldas of all time, but it is definitely in my top 5.
Super Mario 3D Land: 8.5/10
A great edition to the 3DS library and a good Mario game. Although I consider 3D to be a gimmick that I rarely like or ever use, the 3D is very good in this game. Level designs were fun and I love the Zelda level Easter Egg.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 (360 version): 7.5/10
I loathed XIII but I still trudged through it and got all the achievements, even the annoyingly tedious Treasure Hunter one. XIII's story was lackluster but the battle system was great and addicting (even though it always was the same: Libra, buff up, debuff enemy, destroy enemy) and I wanted to see the so-called sequel. The sequel's story was confusing, the game much easier and the DLC was pricey but the game is still good on my terms.
Tales of the Abyss 3D: 9.5/10
Loved the PS2 version and having one of my favorite games on the go was fantastic. Fixes on the horrible loading times although it still has frame-rate issues like the PS2. Almost perfect seamless port of the PS2 version. It took me 94 hrs to beat it (admittedly I did a lot to prepare myself for future playthroughs such as farming grade and gald, collecting titles, filling the Collector's book, etc.) I would give it a 10 but it is still a port so I got to knock it down a little. --- For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill. ~Sun Tzu
Dishonored: I bought it first day and fell in love with it. And then, I could not go on. I don't know why, but I found it super boring after the fourth assassination. Maybe I had too much hope for it. 6/10 (traded-it back).
Xcom: I bought it first day and never stopped playing until I got Assassin's Creed III. It is an amazing game. Really good and tense combat. 10/10
Darksiders II: What a letdown. Only one save file kind of killed it for me. 6/10 (traded-it back).
Deus Ex Human Revolution: I bought it again and started the campaign. Wow! One of my favourite game this gen. 10/10
Borderlands 2 - 8/10 A great shooter with only a few flaws. Some of the characters and the constant pun fest can get tiring though.
Assassin Creed 3 - 5/10 Too big for it's own good, resulting in a buggy mess and pointless sidequest.
Dishonored - 10/10 GotY
Halo 4 - 7/10 Score is for campaign only. It's ok, simple shooting mechanics but great enemy AI.
Toejam & Earl - 7/10 Great enemies and great vibe but can get annoying having gameplay based on simply avoiding being touched by anything. --- well I am not like your dad. I worked as a chef at TGIF-Mattson
