Best Gaming TV for around $200?

Ill try to keep this short and simple.

I want a new gaming TV, as I've been playing on an sdtv for a while and hate it. I'm only 17, so I'm not a heart surgeon with thousands falling out of my pocket like I know most of you are.

The TV will be going in my bedroom an I'd say I sit roughly 3-5 feet from my TV, so I don't need anything too big.

I am (obviously) a 360 gamer. I also don't play in with all of my lights on, so on a scale of 1-10 I'd say my room is usually a 3-6 on brightness.

Please, link me to anything that fits what I've said. Amazon, retail, Black Friday deals, help a brudda out please!

My goal is to be able to read the text in Skyrim.

Oh, also, I'd consider going up to $300 but would rather not. Only if its very, very worth it.

For that price range you're better off going with a monitor capable of 1080p with an HDMI input, and maybe 3D too.

Combine that with either a good surround sound system or a good surround headphone setup and you'll be set for a while.

What? $200-$300 is something.. I'm not looking for the end-all Home Living Room sweet to compete with my neighbors.

I just want a decent HDTV for my bedroom with little latency.

It may look cheesy, but it's cheap.

I have bought 2 HDTVs in my life.

One cost $1000, the other $600.

If you want it to be cheaper, a monitor may be the best solution. Who cares anyway??? If it's only going to be in your room!!!

$1,000 TV's and $600 TV's are living room quality aren't they?

Is this one any good?

I don't know whats different between LCD, LED, and Plasma, but I just know I probably don't want to use Plasma..
