Oh god, "gently press the mouse button"? What the hell?

Like the same rage that came from Crysis 2 owners who loaded the PC version and were met by a screen that told them to press the Start button.

Hm, but don't all window users have a start button?

Not on the keyboard they don't.
There's a windows button. And really, I suppose I mis-typed. It simply said "Press Start".

I was joking xD

You know, the start button in the corner of the screen... I thought it was funny.

wow.. max payne 3 a 55? i loved it. Hell hitman as a 7 is good enough for me, we all know how clunky its been. All these reviews just seem to be for attention to me atleast.

Heres the thing. Early reviews, never fully trust them, they are allowed to be released to the public for a reason (something like if u score it higher than an 8, go ahead and post it. they have to meet a minimum.) If what u read u like, then go for it.

This review just doesn't seem to add up to me, between the gameplay videos and the other reviews, along with other players who have played sections of the game themselves.

TBH i had more fun in the damn sniper challenge than this guy suggests in the whole game, also the part about pre-determined assassinations just seems way off base for a HITMAN game.

Pretty much this. I had enough fun with that sniper challenge that I think I'll love this game as I loved its predecessors. Also, one bad review means jack, especially when others out there have been more favorable.

Another "stealth" game that throws stealth out the window?!?! That's unpossible. It's just how it is now. Hell MGS4 wasn't even stealthy.

you didn't play it right then.

I still look forward to this game despite never playing the older games. The sniper challenge is damn fun and the contracts (or whatever it is called)mode seems really cool from what I have seen

A GameSpy preview touched on the smaller areas issue in a negative light. Remember in Blood Money when you'd do say the Mardi Gras mission or the Casino and the world was just there for you to wreak stealthy silent havoc on? Apparently that's been scaled back. From what I've seen though a few areas still look rather expansive, I believe they scaled back size for world density and detail. If that truly is the case then I don't have much of a problem with it.

Or maybe it's because I've been a Hitman fan since 47 that I'm trying my damnedest to see the best in this game. Fortunately IO has received enough backlash to prevent it from becoming another Splinter Cell Conviction. I'm sure going to miss that newspaper (which should have been upgraded to a news broadcast) and Jesper Kyd though. :(

People keep forgetting Hitman isn't just about playing it with stealth. Rather any way you want

Urgh, don't remind me. It became the Neglectful Porting posterboy that topped MW2's "No, PC has custom stuff like mouse control, text chat in game, and graphics settings."

I watched plenty of gameplay videos that clearly show the player was NOT killing all the guards...so its not true that the game forces you to.
It is an option and nothing more.

Also, this game is more open ended with more options. That is you can use all kinds of things in the environment to kill your target.

So you'll have to excuse me if I call shenanigans on that article/ review.
