Well, if they had ratings back then, would have been the original Mortal Kombat.

First one that actually had a rating on it was Tecmo's Deception. And I'll be amazed if anyone has actually heard of that one.

The first one I played was Halo 2 at a friend's house, but the first I had was Halo 3.

Back then games weren't rated, however, since they have started rating games, the original MK has always had an M rating (notice how all the collections that contain it, that would otherwise have an E rating, are rated M because of it).
