I'm not one to go out of his way to get Trophies or Achievements but when I get them I feel "prouder" when I get a Trophy, probably due to the sound effect that plays when they pop up it's like:

360: "yeah, ok, here"
PS3: "Celebrate good times, come on"

That's an awfully dumb achievement to be pissed off about, TC. It's clearly meant to be done after you initially beat the game.

But even then, not everyone likes to speedrun even if they've completed the game 40,000 times, I've completed FFX 5 or 6 times, not once has my time been less than 80 hours

There's nothing wrong with that at all. However, if that's the type of gamer you are, then you shouldn't concern yourself with an achievement of this nature. If you're a perfectionist when it comes to getting all the achievement in a game and this kind of thing bothers you, then you should do a bit of research before getting the game, y'know?

Beating a game without using SLO MO...BUT wait I STILL GOT IT.

Difficulty achievements that dont stack are the worst. GH3 is a good example, you have to beat it like 8 different times because the achievments dont stack-_-

So recently playing an RPG, it had an achievement to complete the game within 15 hours. Now I read to get this achievement one would have to actually skip pretty much all sidequests and avoidable fight encounters. This achievement so pissed me off that in order to get it one had sacrifice enjoying the game at a leisurely pace.

What achievements have you come across that is just stupid and infuriates you just thinking about it?

See that bolded part? That is EVERY game. Achievements are just made to appeal to the inner addict in us. They really don't enhance gameplay, they just give us more stuff to do and stress over. I know I hate them most of the time and still bust my ass for them.

Any and all multiplayer achievements. Everything else is fine by me.

online achievements are the worst. In my opinion, if you have a good multiplayer, you dont need achievements to add replayability to something whose sole purpose is for replayability.
