I just went from a winky dink 16 inch computer monitor to a 39 inch 1080p 60hz tv.
I went from being RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY SCREEN (because otherwise I couldn't see ****) to having to sit ALL THE WAY in the back of my bedroom up against the wall just to get some space between me and this bad boy...
I'm lovin it!
I haven't squinted since I've bought this puppy! I can just lay back, put my feet up, and relax when I'm gaming... I can't remember the last time I've been able to this...

I have a 42 inch LCD, a 360, a PS3 and a Wii and they all go on a small entertainment center in my living room. I don't see the point in buying a bunch of expensive stereo equipment and all that other junk, the TV speakers are fine.

that center channel speaker is ugly as hell, otherwise it looks awesome.
I set up my Christmas tree last night, and I saw my speaker covers in the closet. I went ahead and decided to put them back on.
At my old place, not having them looked alright because the entertainment stand had some silver in it. It looked neat. But now having it all be black and covered up is a bit more elegant, so I'm glad I put them back on.
