^The secret is to go with friends and treat it like a tailgate party. You want to be pretty drunk for the majority of it.

I got a 40" Samsung LED, 1080p 120hz for $500 to finally replace the ancient tube I've had since Dreamcast came out. Now I can finally play 360, so I picked up Assassin's Creed 3 for $35. Love it so far. My brother has Halo 4 which I'm dying to dive into as well.

What else is an exceptionally good 360 game to display and play on my exquisite new T.V?

I think you guys are confusing "Door Busters" with "Black Friday". I've started to realize that they're starting to extend these sales to sell as much product as possible and in doing so they make up new days. Sales that begin Thursday are called "Door Busters" They initialize the start of the sales. "Black Friday" is the original holiday where the doors wouldn't open until early Friday morning. And now that we're in the electronics age, we've developed the "Cyber Monday" where all the sales are online.

My views on DLC, if it takes longer for me to work to pay for it than actually play it, it's not worth it. Don't buy Capcom games! GamerTag - RE2LeonS

Not bad at all, got done with Thanksgiving dinner, after seeing Skyfall again, walked into Walmart around 7:45 with the fam. Walked out about 8:15 with a new fridge, a new camera, and for games, got FIFA 13, Forza Horizon, Red Dead: GOTY, and Max Payne 3. All 4 for under $60.

How would you compare Skyfall to the other Daniel Craig Bond films? I am wanting to go check that out this weekend.

to tell you the truth.. i mean the truth, it's one of the most over hyped piece of crap i've ever seen, very boring and it didn't seem like a bond movie to me. casino royale is still one of the better films. Just wait until it comes to DVD..

It's becoming very blurred. Cyber monday is becoming less and less of a thing (Or a separate thing) since everyones starting to put their BF sales online now. You can have black friday sales called "doorbusters" for high profile sales that sell out early on friday. And a lot of 24 hour chains have doorbusters on thursday and start black friday sales at the same time.

amazon didnt have much luck either. Most of the games had a waitlist as soon as the games became available. I managed to get Battlefield 3 Premium for $25, missed Forza Horizon and Ratchet and Clank collection but got Forza from the microsoft store instead for $15

you can get rachet and clank for 15 dollars right now on amazon

I got various things, but the main thing was fifteen 1600 Microsoft point cards for $149.85 (24000 points). Not all for me mind you, but there wasn't any point to having several people go in for them.

I did all my shopping online, can't stand going to stores on busy days. I picked up red dead redemption for my friend when it was 15 dollars during amazon's lightning deal, I also got skyrim for 25 dollars and picked up halo 4 while it had the amazon 20 dollar gift card deal (still waiting on that). Mostly of these I actually got Thursday but it was technically a "black friday" deal.

My biggest purchase though was a 35 inch Samsung 720p TV. It was (still is) 41% and I think it's a part of their week long deal, but I just REALLY needed to upgrade my standard definition. Even with composite cables it just wasn't cutting it anymore.

Now I just have to figure out how many extra hours I have to pick up at work to help pay for what I bought.
