Saints Row: The Third The full package question

So I'm getting this in the mail tomorrow, and I was reading about problems the dlc and online code and whatnot, anyway I'm wondering if these dlc online pass code problems happen if I never downloaded anything for the game before or used the online pass code? Also I don't plan on playing online either if that makes any difference.

I would like to know as well. I have the game now, just haven't opened it yet.

I had the original SR3, and I used the online pass for that one, but never bought any other DLC. I've read some things about certain packs not working or whatever, but I don't fully understand what all needs to be done to get things right.

If someone could explain it in plain English, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The full package includes 2 discs; one is the expansion disc which contains all (4) DLC that you can choose to install to your hard drive if you want the extras, and the other disc is the actual game disc.

I've had the original SR3 before but never bought any of the DLC nor downloaded the online pass. I installed all the items on the expansion disc first (which takes up about 507 mb) before booting up the game and have no problems with the DLC whatsoever. All the DLC is listed as installed in the Downloadable Content with the exception being the Unlockable and Bloodsucker pack, which is really just the lazy man's way of "cheats" and pretty unnecessary.

I didn't even know about the complete package existing... and I ordered the original SR3 last week.

I have now just exchanged my shrinkwrapped copy of SR3 for The Complete Package one, so thanks TC :)

So what you are saying is that if you have never previously downloaded anything, you will be alright?

Yes, that seems to be the case. You have a physical copy of the DLC so if anything happens you can always clear your cache and SR3 file and reinstall them.
