I don't prefer Xbox over any of them, I love to play games and own everything so I'm very happy to be a gamer!. --- Currently Playiing: NFS: Most Wanted (360), Socom 4 (PS3), LoZ: SS (Wii) Diehard Buffalo Bills & Sabres Fan!!...XBL GamerTag & PSN: buffalo29
I have both an Xbox and a PC, and they're both hooked up to my 32" 1080p tv. My tv also happens to be at the end of my bed (Space limitations when I moved in here). SO I have a giant memory foam beanbag chair thing and a hundred pillows I set up on my bed to sit in/on/against, and I'm the comfiest gamer ever. And I can switch between PC and Xbox whenever. I mainly use my Xbox for exclusive games that aren't on pc, like NHL 13, Mortal Kombat etc, and rpg's like Lost Odyssey, Nier, FF13 etc...
I usually prefer pc games, most can be played with an Xbox controller, which I do when I'm laying down playing. But for fps games mouse/keyboard is the way to go. And the way I'm set up, I can sit up whenever I want, to play those kinds of games. I do admit to being a bit of a graphics whore, but I'm not one of those who thinks that's what makes a game good. There's good games all around, not specifically system dependent.
Not sure why people seem to think that a pc HAS to be at a desk with a tiny monitor, and you HAVE to hunch over and use a keyboard and mouse. Or that hooking a pc up to a tv is a bad idea. As long as it's a 1080p tv you're good to go, then you can watch movies, youtube, all your favorite internet activities (porn) like facebook games and googling and stuff.
Over a computer? Just about all reasons imaginable. Infinitely better graphics due to the far mode optimized hardware+software of console games, a lot better sound quality+stereo rather than a tiny mono speaker, even though it's not as good screen resolution and doesn't have progressive scan like my computer monitor has the screen size is at least a lot bigger, a lot better controls than mouse and keyboard my computer has, the amount of good games far outnumber even remotely playable games on computer even if I count games that my computer can't play due to the hardware and software limitations and 360 games are a LOT cheaper because they have a second-hand market, also of course playing games on consoles leaves my computer free to be used like it should, as a tool and not a game machine, so I can go online, make art (photoshop, 3ds max etc.), listen to music, watch youtube or DVD movies, chat, visit forums etc. which would be impossible or at the very least an extremely annoying hassle if I was using it to play games.
If I had found a PS3 cheap before I found my 360 I would've been using that like i do my 360 now, it just happened to be a 360 I found cheap so that's the one of the two I got. I hope I'll be able to get a PS3 next year though. --- I have: NES, GB, GBA(3), PSX(5), DC, PS2, PSP(2), GC(2), Wii, XB, XB360 I want: GBP, GBL, GBC, SNES, MD, MCD, 32X, SS, PS3, PSV
