I do have problems with COD and Halo4 which is funny because I have a very fast internet speed:

At home it's an average of 50 down and 20 up. And yes I still get lag. Everyone will because lol peer to peer.

Dude, I am wired, what is yours btw CaPwnd?
Also since you are here, is it true that Internet speed is not as important as ping? What about the bandwidth? Isnt the more download/upload you have the better bandwidth you will get?

My experiences have always been about the same wired compare to wireless over the years.

We're a long ways away from 100% lag free gaming all the time, sadly.

I need some elaboration here. Now everyone seems to insist on the ping thing, but if you are playing with someone from the other part of the world and he was the host, doesn't mean that your ping will become irrelevant? As you are no more connected to your server in which the "ping" was calculated?

Correct me if I am wrong pls.

You have no way of knowing who you will be matched up against and thus no way of knowing where to test your ping. If I ping my neighbor the result doesn't matter if the host is someone 60 miles away.
