i would pass on rage. game kinda sucks. it's one of those games with great potential, but ultimately falls flat with boring uninspired story/design.

ummm, chronicles of riddick is a good one. not really an rpg, but it has some nice elements that separates itself from the fps crowd.

And definitely Deus ex one of the best games ever.

I couldn't get into Deus Ex. I seemed to linear with a couple options if that makes any sense at all.

Granted human revolution was quite good for a sequel I thought they would totally screw it up but overall they did a good job making it a fun game plus I'm a sucker for being able to hack computers and read emails so I loved that aspect.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is an awesome game idk why the reviews of it are so bad... I love the combat in that game and the secrets you can find. The magic is cool to and making enemies slip on your ice sheet you made off a cliff doesn't get old xP

Also, play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl if you can play on PC, that game is great and atmospheric and also if you know anything about modding there are some fantastic mods that are necessary to make the game leaps better (eating to survive, sleep, extra guns and mods, factions, weapon deterioration, extra creatures, random radiation blasts)

This. If it had not been for this game i would have never played any RPG.

Next gen they need to remake this game. No changes in story, just remake the game from the ground up. Same goes for Half Life.
