evillockePosted 12/10/2012 1:24:02 PM | LOL, XIII is a crappy game. A very crappy one. Tip: Get a Wii. Play xenoblade chronicles. Play it again. Rated T, though. There is a small bit of blood in the beginning, but nothing like GoW (lol). Otherwise I enjoyed the super mario galaxy games. 10/10 would play again. Seriously, there is nothing on the 360 I can reccomend. Most good games have a T rating or higher. --- Offical Breloom of all pokemon boards. R.I.P Final fantasy: March 2003. |
StrataElitePosted 12/10/2012 1:26:44 PM | Whatever she may say Call of Duty is not a game for kids there are already to many kids that inhabit that game. I recommend anything Kinect related. --- That's right I'm disagreeing with your opinion ban me for it. |
Megaman_Crazy(Topic Creator)Posted 12/10/2012 1:43:32 PM | Hm. I'll give portal another look. Portal 2 is cynical, but I have this feeling that most of it would probably go over her head.
I think Lego Harry Potter is a definite. I know she's a Harry Potter fan.
Again, they have a wii. I'm not buying them a wii. lol
This is a full family present. I just want her to have something to do on the thing as well.
It gets me out of buying an extra gift :P --- AWS Brawl: Rockband DLC: ~1350 |
SqweamishPosted 12/10/2012 1:49:56 PM | I have a 7 year old sister, so I'm going off of what she plays occasionally.
Lego games (HELL, WHO DOESN'T LIKE THOSE?)
Castle Crashers, great to play with others on too.
Portal 1 and Portal 2 |
PPPPLAASSUMAPosted 12/10/2012 2:32:11 PM(edited) | Kinects are on sale these days IIRC.
A kinect and a few dance games would be perfect for a young lady. Not only are they kid AND girl friendly, they'll keep her off the couch now that she's a full fledged gamer.
Merry xmas btw.
*Just actually read the thread - BTW TC, kinect can be in small spaces. I do it with hardly any room and it wrks fine. You can buy a "zoom" for $30 for small rooms. If the kinect works for me in my small space, then the zoom thing will make it even better. But I understand if you truly have 0 space whatsoever. I wanna say it only needs a 4"x4" square but I'm no expert. --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtxCr5ju2EE&feature=related - If you played Mystical Ninja 64, you need to click this. |

randomweirdoPosted 12/10/2012 4:07:13 PM | RPGs actually can be good for kids too. I started playing them at around the age of 9. Any T rated RPG is likely going to be all right.
Dust: An Elysian Tale looks like it would be good for a kid, so would Bastion. |
CaIiber345Posted 12/10/2012 4:10:58 PM | Viva Piņata, maybe?
Lego games are always good.
Banjo Kazooie? --- Waiting for: Aliens: Colonial Marines, GTA V I'm the Wile E. Coyote of stealth gameplay in Far Cry 3. |
Super CreaturesPosted 12/10/2012 6:33:27 PM | Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013, if she is into card games (or, maybe one of the older ones, since you may not want her playing online, and the previous 2 games are pretty much dead online now). --- R.I.P.
