How's everyone's experience with this? Good game?

I didn't really care for it much but I know a lot of people who like it. I love Lost Odyssey.

The game has a bit of a cult-ish following.

Personally it wasn't my style, though I love my RPGs. But if you can get it cheap and have some free time I don't see why it's not worth a try.

I found a copy of the game on ebay for $12 and free shipping. Tempting.

It's a little slow at times, but overall it's a good experience. Got it for $20, wasn't disappointed.

The boss music gets annoying half-way through though, since it's the same song on a loop for every single boss.

This feels warm. What is this feeling? Is it of warmth?

I like it, but its a fairly standard jrpg, nothing special, but its worth a playthrough.

Its a great RPG if you play RPGs for the gameplay rather than story. The story is painful at time and it's got some of the least likable characters and voice acting ever.

Soundtrack is great, battle system is good, dungeon designs and graphics will make you nostalgia for oldschool RPGs, and the game has it's charm.

I completely understand why people hate it, but personally, I loved it. I recommend skipping most cutscenes and basically speedrunning it, though, otherwise I would have gotten bored. I beat it in 15 hours doing that and I'm no RPG master, you could probably do the same. Also keeps the challenge up.
