Mech Games on 360?

Are there any good mech-based games on the 360? Back in the day, I used to play Battletech on the Genesis, Gun Griffon on the Sega Saturn, Mechwarrior 3 on the PC, and a few others here and there.

I'm a big fan of the Virtual On series and will be picking that up on Xbox Live but that's a different kind of game (closer to a fighting game).

I see that the last few Armored Core games are available on the 360. Are they recommended? I also saw that the reviews for the last Steel Battalion game were not very good but what are others thoughts?

Are there any other recommendations? Also, will that new Mechwarrior game that was announced for the 360 a year or so ago ever be released?

Zone of the Enders HD Collection deserves a mention here. I'm pretty sure it isn't as deep in terms of customisation options but it's worth checking out.

Virtual On is great, not sure about Armored Core havent played it yet.

If you like Mechs and have a P.C. check out Hawken its in open Beta right now and it plays great, I wish this was coming to the 360.

Chromehounds is a great game, but its basically dead now.

I want to know what happened to Hawken, it was supposed to be coming to XBL but never did.

It's in open beta on PC now. I'm not terribly impressed with it compared to mechwarrior online.
