+Island is expansive and impressive
+Hunting is genuinely challenging and fun
+Crafting is not too complicated and provides a nice distraction
+Side activities such as collectible hunting and side quests encourage exploration
+Nice variety of weapons and customization options for those weapons
+Vehicles provide plenty of crazy free roam moments
+Can be genuinely spooky, like when you're swimming and a shark suddenly bites your arm
+Water looks beautiful and the swimming mechanics are very well done
+Takes the good ideas from Assassin's Creed and does them better with the Radio Towers and outpost liberation
+Combat is brutal and well-animated
+Split-screen co-op and multiplayer to go along with the online
+There are some good characters and great plot developments
+Dubstep soundtrack is very intense and clashes (in a good way) with the environment
-Jason Brody is one of the worst characters of all time, absolutely garbage
-NPCs that aren't primary characters sound like they did their voice acting through a can
-We get no time to care about Jason's friends, which makes the first half of the game hollow
-Vaas is criminally underused
-Crashed a couple of times on me
-Certain plot developments make no sense
-"GAMESTOP EDITION" on the case, what the **** guys
-Online pass required even for offline co-op content
-Framerate is not the best
-Minor control issues

Verdict:

It's still a lot of squandered potential (though far less than FC2), but what's there is pretty good and there's a lot of it, so my verdict is buy as well.

While there is a lot to do, and it is well done.. once you finish there really isn't much else to do.

I don't understand when people say this. Of course there's nothing to do once you're done. You're DONE. That is the very definition of the word. If you mean nothing to do when you're done with the story, that is just wrong.

This is why I switched my pre-order to Best Buy. Seriously, I do not understand why Ubisoft has been doing this lately. They did it with AC3, and that got switched to BB, too.

There's no lasting factor, once you've completed everything there's no point to redo it. The mp is barely there so that doesn't add anything.

I don't understand why they couldn't have thrown in a new game plus mode that let's you keep your skills
