I am also not liking cross-airs at all times, even while running. I don't know if this is just in FFA, but starting grenades for everyone is a horrible idea. I have also heard that you only get one starting weapon, which makes no sense. Why change it when it worked before? It almost feels like they broke what Gears is supposed to be.
I've been a huge gears since the first, but I am honestly not going to buy this unless some major changes are made. I will definitely rent it for the campaign, love the campaign of Gears. Maybe this is why Cliffy B and Rod Fergusson left Epic, their franchise is losing its roots.

They should show (in game) what the military was like before the attack. Perhaps have you as a young friend of Baird who's just enrolled. Then the Day happens all around you. Suddenly, you're in over your head. But no, the world is, instead, already destroyed and looks too similar to the other games. |
