Almost a whole year before 360 started to have the WOW factor.
I guess it will be the same story in a year for Wii U. --- XBLIVE - Sonic B0000M NNID - Sonic_B0000M PSN - Dragon--Punch STEAM - Sonic B0000M

Definitely somewhere between COD2 and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. COD2 was the initial wow factor in graphics, same for Kameo whenever you went out into the badlands where an entire war between elves and orcs raged on. But Ghost Recon was the first game that convinced me that the actual gameplay features were beyond last gen. This is particularly true when considering the multiplayer and co-op terrorist hunts with Drone participation. It was the details and the drones that put it over the top. --- "because 'Clerks' is NINJA in itself." - Ninja Mask lessons by Vern Reid (http://houseofninja.com/tutorial.php)

Oblivion. Got my 360 a year after release, and bought the game at the same time. First game I played on it. --- "You gonna do something or just stand there and bleed"? - K.R.

The textures in Perfect Dark Zero were gorgeous --- These people are meat virgins. They'll be taken by the grill and delicately and tenderly be shown the ways of flavorful meat love. The first time is beautiful.

Oblivion after the sewers, too bad there's a loading there... Would have been more Epic without.

Oblivion was my first game I bought in 2006 and had my xbox 360 up to December 2012.
Gears of War for most people, I would assume. That, or playing the 360 version of a PS2 title, like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance or Superman Returns. Awful as that game was, it was pretty cool to see Superman's cape actually flowing in the wind instead of the piece of cardboard they used on the PS2.
