Dead Island for me. That first trailer... unfortunately I ended up hating the game. Close 2nd is Brink for me. I had mile high expectations for some reason.

Fallout New Vegas. Though to be fair, I went into it without having every played any of the other games, and didn't really know much about it, but the few videos I saw of the game of all the different things you can do in casinos made me interested. But upon starting the game, I was greeted to an empty desert, and any attempts I made to get to the actual city part of the game were stopped by some sort of creature that would always kill me, and I realized I actually had to spend time out there and get to a higher level before I was able to get past them. I probably didn't give the game very much of a chance because of this, but that definitely turned me off from the game as it wasn't what I was expecting at all.

lol you went the wrong way. There are two paths out of the first town, one to the north and one to the south. Taking the northern pass is damn near impossible because it contains enemies that are much higher level than you and will kill you rather quickly. That said, it does take a damn while before you actually reach New Vegas which is kind of discouraging.

Awesome games I've never finished: Vampire:
The Masquerade - Bloodlines, Black Sigil, 999 (True ending), Nier (all endings besides A)

Sonic 06

The game that was supposed to bring Sonic back on top ended up being the game that damn near killed the franchise. Thank God for Generations and Colors.

RDR. everyone was saying how great it was, but it felt boring and tedious. F:NV was the same. I don't want my sandbox empty. F3 is how I like my sandbox, full of interesting nuggets

It's an Arcade title, but Tony Hawk HD.

Would've been better with just an HD collection with 1, 2, and 4.

This one is easy for me. Gears of War 2. All of my hate for this game is due to the fact of how much I loved Gears 1. I know for a fact I put more time into Gears 1 than all of the other games that I have played before combined. I absolutely LOVED everything about that game's multiplayer. Me and my friends would host Annex matches and go through full map cycles getting a 100 kills a map which takes a while compared to other multiplayer games.

So basically for GOW2 i wanted the exact same multiplayer system with just new maps, weapons, and executions. I would have been absolutely happy. But they completely failed in all fronts. I knew the first time that I got hit with a smoke grenade, and glitched out of the map that that game was not the game I wanted it to be.

I broke it.

Lol this. Give it a try again man it's an amazing game. It is pretty slow starting out though. For me it was Operation Raccoon City. Ok co-op multiplayer, but horrible at everything else. And the BS DLC that should have been part of the game that Capcom tried to pull. It felt like half the game was missing.
