Zelda Skyward Sword, just a stupid game. Ninja Gaiden 3, still hoping I wake up one day and NG3 never existed. --- Don't hate us because we're beautiful...

Ar Tonelico Qoga was a huge disappointment for me, definitely. It was just way too ridiculous, even more so than the first two and it was boring. The battle system was horrible compared to the first two. Tales of Graces F was also disappointing for me. I didn't like the characters much nor the story, especially compared to Vesperia. Dragon's Dogma was really terrible for me as well, but I expected something else and I do hate the Souls games, so...
I realize I'm in the minority, but it was really Xenoblade that was the biggest letdown for me. I was so damn excited about it when they announced it made its way here and I got it day one but I couldn't bear myself to even get past 15-ish hours in. I hated the battle system to death and huge open fields. It felt like an MMORPG more than a JRPG. The story looked ok but I just couldn't get past the gameplay. That's not what I want in my JRPGs. Thank goodness for Ni No Kuni next year. --- --- My page on the best site ever for music freaks: http://rateyourmusic.com/~Razor45

Resident Evil 5. A good game still, but a disappointment when comparing it to RE4. --- Super Mario Kart is the single best Mario Kart ever!

Gears of War 3. Terrible writing, terrible resolution to the story, and an online full of lies and misleading. Then Epic decides to focus on Judgment, which will be even worse. --- Happiness hit her like a bullet in the back.

Sonic Unleashed on Wii.
A store had an Xbox 360 set up, on which I played one Day Stage and that got me hyped. Got the Wii version ASAP and was really underwhelmed.
I later got the PS3 version, which I do like better (more of a balance between day and night stages, actual hub worlds rather than those boring menus, more interesting level up system, ect.), but it still wasn't great. Thankfully, Colors and Generations were both solid.

There were a few that let me down due to hype (Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, Red Dead Redemption), and a few the let me down because I loved the previous games in the series (Resident Evil 5, GTA IV, Gears of War 3), but all of these were still fun to play.
The biggest let down is Final Fantasy XIII because it's a terrible game, and no one will convince me otherwise.
