Connecticut town collecting and destroying games

Wasn't Adam Lanza mature enough to play Call of Duty? Not that I blame COD for the shooting. But the real issue here is mental health and a need for better gun control laws..

The ONLY thing you got right was that this is a mental health issue, the rest is wrong.

First, Lanza didn't play violent games, it's know that he played DDR.

Second, Lanza was stopped from buying guns legally under current laws because he refused to submit to the mandatory background check in Connecticut which would have found his documented history of mental illness.

Third, tell me something, if you think more laws would have stopped this from happening, why haven't the 16,000+ laws done that job? Lanza broke no less than a dozen laws 27 times each, that's 300+ violations of the law, he didn't f***ing care about the laws.

If you think more gun laws would work, why haven't the thousands of anti-drug laws been able to get drugs off the streets? Drug crimes are at an all time high despite near full bans on said drugs.

Why didn't the full ban of booze work during Prohibition days?

Criminals don't give a s*** about laws. Restrictions and bans only turn illegal dealers into Millionaires, Billionaires, and Trillionaires.

The people collecting games and destroying them in Sandy Hook are the equivalent of Book Burners in the past, they want to destroy the ideas contained within those games.

And from the article, Leland Yee's hypocrisy is f***ing legendary at this point....morons like him are why term limits should be mandatory as well as press bans after the limits end. Once a politician is no longer in office, they should be kept off camera.

This is the kind of stupidity that allowed Obama to get elected for 2 terms. People are just ignorant and brainwashed.

People like you are no better. Did violence in the media come up even once during the election?

Its nice to know Nazi Germany is alive and well in the U.S. Makes me wish I was Canadian.

In spite of all the changes the Internet has gone through over the last 20 years, insensitive, nonsensical Nazi analogies haven't gone anywhere.

I can't help but wonder why blu-ray wasn't included on the book burning list.

You claim it's "nonsensical" but the similarities can't be denied.

One "charitable organization" collecting games and destroying them is the same as burning books way back then. Free speech is under near CONSTANT attack from people claiming that they know how to run your life better than you do.

Arresting people and jailing them indefinitely without a trial under the guise of "stopping terrorism" is the same thing the Nazis did to spies and "enemies of the state". In Communist China instead of torture and execution, they resorted to "re-education", better known as brainwashing, conform under penalty of death.

Border Patrol has been running long term "security checkpoints" on roads inside the USA, roads as far as 150 MILES inside the USA, under the guise of stopping drug trafficking. The thing is, long term checkpoints aren't any good at stopping drug traffic, the bad guys know their locations within 1 day and avoid them like the plague. People have been beaten and hospitalized at those checkpoints for following the actual laws instead of the made-up-on-the-spot bulls*** coming from the checkpoint guards. There's also reports of vehicles being X-Rayed with the drivers still inside. That constitutes search without probable cause.

The Senate just approved 5 more years of warrant-less surveillance and searches, and at least one judge has claimed warrant-less searches are somehow legal.

New York is the king of Unconstitutional laws with their large soda ban and the requirement for a permit to peacefully assemble in public.

You think it simply can't happen in the USA, but there's survivors of the concentration camps with serial numbers tattooed on their arms living in the USA right now who are openly saying that it's the same things happening all over again.

Here's why students are snapping....

http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/boy-6-suspended-from-silver-spring-school-for-pointing-finger-like-a-gun/2013/01/02/21acc8d4-54fc-11e2-8b9e-dd8773594efc_story.html

http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/suspended-from-school-in-early-grades/2012/02/02/gIQA3H0X9Q_story.html

The teachers don't have a f***ing clue how to properly discipline the kids so they don't even bother to discipline them at all, they just kick them out. More than 6100 little kids in just one state suspended or expelled from school from pre-kindergarten to 5th grade in one year, most of them before 3rd grade.

The so-called "child psychologists" then prescribe mind altering drugs that they don't have the first clue about, and when it all breaks down and the kids snap, they have the gall to sit back and wonder why.

Oh, before someone says that the doctors or child shrinks know what they're doing when they put people or little kids on prescription drugs.....they really don't.
