cheapest place to get xbox live? On xbox? or newegg is my best bet?

What annoys me the most is Newegg has that sweet starter pack for $60 bucks but of course, knowing my luck it was out of stock, It goes back into stock and BAMN its $69 bucks. yeah I know I know, We are still saving but come on. The point is. I wanted it at that awesome $60 price and I would of been all game.

Now I went to go look for xbox live by it self and those cards were like $44 and now they are $50. IS that really the cheapest I can find them? I guess $10 is better than nothing but there has to be a better deal out there. I don't have a job as of right now,(waiting one to start) and its been hard enough to afford rent, Let alone game lol

On eBay, buy.com seems to regularly offer good deals on them, that is how I got my last few. $34.99 last time I think. They go quickly, though.

Lol and whats Cag?

CheapAssGamer. www.cheapassgamer.com

It's a website that chronicles video game sales, from retail store weekly ads to online sales to Xbox Live Marketplace Deals of the Week, and yes even cheap places to get Live subscriptions and points. Honestly, the one thing I haven't seen there is eBay listings, but I'm sure there's some kind of rule for that.

This is the thread you're looking for: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=248984 Unfortunately, it seems you just missed a $40 year of Live deal, but check back there once in a while if you don't find the 2 months for $2 deal on your dashboard.

No problem. Also, heads up: Target has a 3-month Live Gold card for 20 bucks next week. They're usually $25, and even going for the full $60 for a whole year is technically cheaper, but if you don't feel like shelling out the whole 60 (or think you might find a better deal within your 3 months), this deal at Target is something to consider.
