the ads dont bother me at all.
I also like the fact that the dashboard is different like every week instead of the same thing for YEARS.
Besides, if the ads didnt exist, I wouldnt of known about the xmas sale until it was too late

This. They're not at all intrusive and they shouldn't bother any normal person. But then again, we are talking about gamers here and if there's any group of people more b****y and entitled than gamers I haven't found them yet.

No matter how you spin it, paying 30 dollars a year for ad's and renting the ability to play any game you OWN online is still incredibly wasteful. I've never subscribed to any console service but at the very least you get discounts and even free games with PSN+.

As a consumer free to spend my hard earned cash wherever I wish, I have been a paying member of XBL for over 5 years now. I've played on Ninty's online, and I've played on PSN.

Yeah, it's more than worth the money.
