Yes, I know my Xbox controller needs new batteries

Solution: Look at your screen instead of your controller.

Not a solution for me b/c most of the time I can still see it in my peripheral vision.

Honestly, 90% of the time I don't see the lights flashing and just play until the controller dies. I don't see the lights out of my peripheral vision either. Stop looking at the controller maybe and play whatever game you're playing?

I usually don't even notice the lights flashing. When my controller no longer rumbles is what gets my attention when my batteries are really low.

I went to the lengths of opening up my controller and disabling the light altogether.
It annoyed me THAT much.

Then take a piece of duct tape and put it over the Xbox Guide button, problem solved.

Yea, I have no problem with a low battery warning, but it should come at 10-15%, not what seems like 49% with the 360 controller.

Weird. My batteries always die within 10-15 minutes after the light starts flashing. I use rechargeable batteries and get over 30 hours on them.
