Honestly, 90% of the time I don't see the lights flashing and just play until the controller dies. I don't see the lights out of my peripheral vision either. Stop looking at the controller maybe and play whatever game you're playing?

I usually don't even notice the lights flashing. When my controller no longer rumbles is what gets my attention when my batteries are really low.

I went to the lengths of opening up my controller and disabling the light altogether.
It annoyed me THAT much.
I feast on that control method you call Karma.

Then take a piece of duct tape and put it over the Xbox Guide button, problem solved.

Weird. My batteries always die within 10-15 minutes after the light starts flashing. I use rechargeable batteries and get over 30 hours on them.
