I can tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps. It's more accurate to say I don't care about the difference. Just keep it consistent.

Nope. I have perfect eyesight, but I notice no difference between 720p at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps while playing. I can see the difference if I look closely, but I don't do that while I'm playing.
Baseless prediction as of 01/04/13 : the next Xbox will be called the Xbox On.

^^^He's allowed to be on the topic with his opinion. But I do feel anyone who says they don't care about the difference truly don't care about gameplay because going from 30fps to 60fps makes just about any game feel more responsive.

I can assure you I do. I just don't pay attention to graphics.

Its the reason I have Sonic Generations on PC instead of PS360.

Yes, it's quite a difference for snobs. Should have been the first choice.

It has nothing to do with snobbery. It's pretty easy for some people to see the difference. Others apparently have different perception, but its a night-and-day difference for me. *especially* when a 30fps game drops down to low 20s (sup farcry 3!) and it feels choppy as hell.

Agreed. I love Darksiders II, but unfortunately the 360 version plays at 30fps normally. On a few occasions however the game glitched and forced the game to run at 60fps and the gameplay overall was much smoother. The only downside is that it caused more screen tearing. But if I could force the game to run that way every time I would. It played so much better, smoother. It even made dodging/countering easier as it was just more responsive.

People who can't tell the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps need to get their eyes checked.

Seriously, play Far Cry 3 on a console and then play an Infinity Ward CoD game, and tell me you can't tell the difference. Either you're lying or need glasses.

It doesn't help that CoD looks like ass compared to Far Cry.

And I have glasses. I don't see a framerate difference, but then again, I don't sit an inch away from my TV.
