The specs look pretty impressive. I just hope it doesn't cost a crazy amount when it's released.


on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being super duper I can't wait to preorder and 1 being not really caring at all...I am a 4 and I am sliding more & more towards one. It's basically more & more sounding like KinectBox and considering Kinect is one of the things that is driving me away from MS in the first place, it doesn't appeal to me in the least.

About 3 right now.

Might increase when someone actually shows me something about it that's not speculation or wishful thinking.

Generally I don't get too worked up over the unknown.

7 for right now...I'm happy to see they went with 8GB of RAM...people not excited are either

A. Cheap asses... for petes sake, SAVE YOUR MONEY...if you can't pull together $500 within 12 months, you need to reevaluate your life
or
B. Plain ol stupid...If you are a true gamer,
you have seen the tech demos for next gen engines...mind blowing
you've seen the trailer for watchdogs and was blown away
you've seen the PC version of battlefield 3,
you know the possibilities are mind blowing...
you know that video gaming has been held back by these outdated machines
you know that AI, and the amount of things you can react with on screen will be multiplied x100

or
C. You are a casual and you just bought your xbox a few months/years ago, and feel it's too soon to buy another one...your fault lol

I am only excited because now the old technology of 360 will stop slowing the making of insane graphics in games for PC.

I'm excited to see some new stuff about it but I won't get one for some time after it comes out. I want to get the second version I'm sure will come out when they find some flaws with the originals.

The "gaming" related aspects of Live need to be free. MS should be matching Sony and Nintendo on that front. I shouldn't have to pay extra for access to online gaming or demos put in place to help sell a game. Furthermore, I shouldn't have to pay extra for access to Netflix or web browsing... lol! My goodness, MS.


I need Metal Gear Rising but after that I am ignoring my 360. If those issues are taken care of and I can transfer all of my games over, then I'll start considering Xbox 3. Right now, I'm thinking I may go 3DS, Wii U and PS4 for next gen.
