Thanks rayzor did not think of it that way, and jam I disagree there are still big companies who push more for passion then max profit you sound like anotber robot.

Do you understand how capitalism works? Bottom line is, they want to make money. Whether or not they deliver a quality piece of work to earn that money is up to them. There's really no arguing it, no disagreeing etc. etc.

That's simply how it is, for better or worse.

I understand all to well but you cannot justify something just because thats the way it is as you state but that does not change the fact that not all companies follow this idea or has to so yea on the end its still a choice.

I think games today are as or more creative than they've ever been.

A. They don't have a Publisher
B. The Publisher they may have is not giving them the funds they need.
C. They need the funds so they can make it, and market it

Every developer cares about making a profit. Now that doesn't mean that they won't care about their fans though.

Take CDPR for example, they want to make a profit but they care about their fans also.(At least that what they make it seem like)

Developers have to go for the money to stay in business. Good, or bad.

Which basically means you where kind of wrong maybe your just defending this idea because it may be your way of life but we all have our own ideas to make lfe better but it does not mean they would be since some of these ideas have not been executed then there is no way of knowing.
