Wanted to buy Dragons Dogma but heard the Dark Arisen version has the original game plus DLC,if this is true there is no reason to buy the regular game if you plan on buying the dark arisen thing right?

Just wait for Dark Arisen, I think it will release at 40 bucks, too.

I think they said they won't be releasing, at least initially, the Dark Arisen add on as DLC.

So if you want to play the expansion pack at all, you will have to buy The Dark Arisen version.

They'll probably release it as DLC as well down the line.
