Day 1 digital download. Sony has the right idea with this and also if they discounted the game by 10% since lack of box would be even better. You guys think they will do this with the new Xbox?

Can't say if they will but I hope so too. I would also like to be able to download it ahead of time and just have it unlock the day the game releases.

I'm not 100% sure but does Sony take that approach with pre ordering/ downloading , then on release date it unlocks?

I agree. Digital is one thing I personally support since its easier to take care of and takes up less space.

Also, a lot of games PS+ gives a discount on, even Day 1. Not sure why Microsoft waits so long to put games there... Heck NFS Most Wanted JUST made it there for full price where PS3 had it since Day 1 with a 10% discount for Plus members.

It's been like that for a lot longer. PS All Stars did that I know for sure.
