got a used xbox, games on the hdd, can I play these. after gt dl?

I bought a 250gb matte slim off c-list. There is no profile but a few xbla games are on the hdd, minecraft and one other, plus demos. If I dl my gamertag and transfer from my old hdd, will I be able to play these?

Depends on the content licensing. If the person did not transfer the license to their new console then they might be playable. If not, then no.

Of course, that would depend on if the console had the console license in the first place, not just if they did a license transfer to a different console.
