Why do Sony fans keep boasting about PS3's exclusive 2013 lineup?

His other topic on the 360 board was the same way

Topic title: Everyone who gave up on the 360 & bought a PS3 after multiple RROD's

Are idiots!

Yes the RROD affected a huge amount of 360's, I have heard 50% and 65% from various sources. I am now on my 7th 360 which is the Halo 4 Slim.

One of my friends just had their 4th 360 die and has said he has had enough and is buying a PS3 instead.

I cannot understand why he and everybody who has would choose a PS3 over a 360. I happily bought 7 Xbox 360's as although it was frustrating when they died I know that it is worth the money as it is the greatest consoleyou can buy now.

Nobody buys 7 xbox 360. You have 3 years to get them fixed for free, which means that he would have started buying the xboxes back in 1991.

If we want to be technical, Sly Cooper 4 and Ni No Kuni aren't exclusives.

360 has a pretty good exclusive lineup for this year as well. Gears: Judgement, Charlie Murder, Crimson Dragon (basically a new Panzer Dragoon game), State of Decay, Battleblock Theater, Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds, Skulls of the Shogun (just came out), LocoCycle, Matter, Ascend: New Gods. PS3 may be getting more retail releases this year, but 360 will continue to impress with it's arcade lineup.

For me, PlayStation has always had the better exclusive line-up. That is why I bought a PS3. Having said that, the 360 has some great exclusive games. It is all a matter of opinion to me. I'm not going to be blindly loyal to one or the other just because of brand name.

Maybe I'll buy the 720 Xbox over the PS4 if I find it has games that are more interesting.

5 games is more impressive than one though.

Beyond will probably be as boring as Heavy Rain
.

Heavy Rain was and still is great, get out.

Sorry but contrary to popular opinion, opinions can be incorrect and what you just said is one of them. Heavy Rain is only a game by a loose definition of the word- you might be interested in some FMV games like Night Trap, Ground Zero: Texas and Dragon's Lair if you find Heavy Rain's "gameplay" tantalizing. Furthermore, the story is full of flaws, plot holes, terrible sub-Resident Evil 1 acting and godawful looking character models. But don't take my word for it, here are a couple of articles from the only two sites that had the balls to disagree with everything Heavy Rain tried to do:

Back on topic, I sold my PS3 last year because everything it had on it, I could get in other places like the PC and Xbox 360.

Kusabi, enjoy life as a gaming website Lemming.

I concur with GG. Heavy Rain was and still is great, and I am looking forward to Beyond.

Also, your own personal preference does NOT define what a "game", video or otherwise, is.

Ni No Kuni and Last of us look really cool. Sly will probably be good. God of War's multi from what I played is terrible, but campaign will probably be as good as Gears: Judgment.

Beyond looks ****ing terrible, though, and even worse than heavy rain.
