LOL eggball! Those overpaid steroid guys in costumes almost ruin the event.

Don't most people only watch it for the halftime show and the comercials anyway?

If you're going to idiotically dismiss something, at least get your moronic insults correct - it's "handegg" not "eggball"...the latter makes very little sense.

No. I haven't cared about football for a long time. I used to be somewhat interested in it, then I realized it's pretty crap compared to most other sports.

No.

The United States and to a certain extent, part of Canada, are the only people that even can watch the Super Bowl. The world population sits at about 7 billion people. The United States has a total population of around 315 million. Canada has a total population of around 33 million.

It's rather depressing how some people in the US thinks their country is the only one in the world, and doesn't realize how completely insignificant things like the Super Bowl are on a world-wide scale. Why would someone in Australia or China care which US state wins a football game?....

Look up the rating's yourself and you'll see that US Football does pretty well in foreign market's. The only country where it's irrelevant is China. Just look at some of the numbers yourself, the World Cup WORDLDWIDE gets 715 million unique views and 260 million average where as the Super Bowl get's 750 million unique and 98 million and considering the Super Bowl number's are a US only rating that's 98 million avereage is pretty significant that fact that over 750 million tune in for a period of time is pretty impressive for a sport that you say nobody outside the US cares about.

It my not be as popular worldwide and be as watched as it is here but it's still a pretty popular sport. The only real people who hate it are the "football elitists" but all they can say is "it should be called hand ball cuz dey don't use dey feettzziz".

For the same reason I watch Barclay's Premier League, Bundesliga, Australian Rules Football, CFL, and Rugby 7s games - it's a damn entertaining sport.
