Do we know anything about BC yet?

Will we be able to play our 360 games on next xbox - both disc and downloaded games?

We know nothing, sadly.

It's all hearsay.

Who knows but they going from PPC to AMD thats different architecture altogether which means they would have to have a emulator for each game, doubt MS would go through and write code for every single 360 game.

I think it's a given, personally. It's probably similar if not exactly the same PC architecture..

As for the PS3, I seriously doubt it. And even if the PS3 does get BC it will probably be really bad with the amount of emulation it would involve.

Both PS3 and Xbox 360 are going from Power PC architecture to x64. The Cell and 360s cpu were both based off of Power PC architecture. The amd chip that they are both rumored to be using in their next systems is x64. Which probably means no BC on both systems.
