other then on this forum i never hear anyone talking about jrpgs, but i do hear people talking about wrpgs on a pretty regular basis. i think the jrpg fans are puffer fish, trying to blow themselves up to look bigger then they actually are. --- micro-transactions in $60.00 retail games, it will get worse devs are just boiling the frog slowly so we dont notice.
Level 5 has been butt-hurt ever since MS canceled their MMO for the xbox so they don't bother with us lowly gaijin any more. Well that's my completely uneducated guess anyway.

They already knew MS wanted to get some results. And they only needed to finish things up, since the game was already pretty much done. All they needed to do was finish the online infrastructure. They could've revolutionized the industry by bringing a good MMORPG to consoles exclusively. And right now, I think the only MMORPG's on consoles are also available for PC's.
