Not even good as a third person shooter.
Skip it.

It's fun if you play with friends. It would be awesome if you could turn off indicators for infections and stuff. I got infected, and my friend noticed and shot me just before I turned and ate his face.

It's better than RE6 but that's not saying much.
MMA fan for life.

Not even close. I finished RE6, I couldn't even finish Raccoon city.

I liked it.

Worth a rental, I wouldn't pay over $20 for the game though. The teammate AI are absolute idiots in the game

If all the DLC was included, then yeah, it would be good.
But since it ISN'T, then it feels like an incomplete rush-job.

The normal version is only half the order to get the complete game, you have to buy all the other DLC.
This is actually the ONE time that Capcom's DLC practices really pissed me off.

If you can get the game for $20 bucks or cheaper, then its a decent (albeit mediocre) experience.
The shooting combat isn't bad, but the bullet detection is wonky...enemy ai is terrible....and bosses & some enemies are nothing more than bullet-sponges.
The game feels rushed.
I only have it because I like shooting zombies, but this game really tests my patience with its horrible ai and wonky bullet detection (some enemies will go down in a few shots while others will take full clips).
The level design borders on meh and crap.
And the game is incredibly short....which forces you to buy the DLC, which is further missions (that should have been included in the main game).

But the concept is actually pretty neat, and I like being able to upgrade abilities and buy new weapons.

I am hoping that Capcom just releases a complete version on disc that includes all the DLC for like $30 bucks.

If you are a RE fan or like shooting zombies, then definitely get it. It's not great, but it will serve as something different.
If you don't, then there are plenty of better 3rd-Person shooters out there.
Such as...
Binary Domain
Spec-Ops: the Line
Gears of War
Dead Space
RE5 or 6
