Should I buy Mass Effect Trilogy or Dead Space Trilogy?

Buy the Mass effect games BUT not the trilogy, buy each separate.

Buying each separate used is 10 - 20 bucks cheaper than buying the trilogy used.

And the trilogy has nothing extra. Makes no sense.

I guess my question is, re live the glory of mass effect and see if it's as amazing as I remember, or try a new ip with dead space ?

Oh, you already played it? Dead Space, then.

...it's pretty cool that they made things carry across. It really did feel like a personalized story.

There was absolutely no connection between my ME1&2 Shepard and the version of Shepard forced on me in Mass Shooting Gallery 3: Now With Less Dialogue.

I can take you further: I'd argue there was no connection between my Shepard and ME2's Shepard. Cerebus was the bane of Raina Shepard's existence. The only proper roleplay action I should have had in ME2 is to tell them to screw off based on my character's back story choice and how I played the first.

Still, I appreciate the little details they did crossover, even if they didn't live up to their hype.

Buy or borrow the first Dead Space to see how you like it before going for the full trilogy.
