If there is any truth whatsoever to the rumors, I fear that we're headed toward doomsday for gamers since it's hard to see how they'll embrace an online only console and no used games.

I wonder if the online only next gen console will be for cable users only? DSL is too slow and unreliable to work well. After all, isn't DSL called the new dial-up by today's sophisticated gamers?
