Im not paying even 29.99 for some old ass games, when right now I pay 5-10 bucks for them.
I wait for most games to hit 20 anyway. I buy them new when I can.
This is why Im against digital download only. Steam is great, but look at the prices on the XBL and PSN stores. Still 60 bucks for old ass games.

Digital distribution is just bad when there's no competition. Steam also has competition so that encourages and cultivates competitive pricing. Sometimes retail stores have games cheaper than Steam, not often, but sometimes. Other digital distributors such as Amazon or GMG have prices to compete with Steam. Exactly, but with consoles its only Sony and MS. No one to compete with so prices will never go down. Basically what I'm saying exactly haha. Similar to Apple and their mobile devices. They have no competition on their platform so they price them whatever the hell they want. Compared to say...
