Red Dead Redemption, Halo 3, The Walking Dead Season 1, Portal 2, and Bioshock come to mind.

toss FIN on a blank screen and thats good enough for me, I don't play games to see the ending.

I think Portal 2 is the poster child.

Metal Gear Solid 4 for me although I know not everyone loved it.

Mass Effect 2 got me really pumped for the epic finale that was sure to come.....
