Do you guys think the Xbox 720 should introduce meta-achievements?

Like achievements earned from the console itself for playing X amount of games on your Xbox for Y amount of time, or when you get all the achievements in every 10 games, it unlocks a new meta-achievement to show many games you have 100% completed.

Pretty neat idea, huh?

I think that'd be pretty interesting.

I'd also like to see some type of rewards system for getting X amount of Gamerscore or perfecting X amount of games; maybe avatar rewards or exclusive Gamerpics.

You know, little things to encourage you to get achievements.

Sounds cool but nah. Let's not create a snowball effect of "you got 100 more points because you reached 10,000 points!"

People are already being rewarded, we can't reward them for being rewarded. It's silly.

Would much rather be able to "spend" my gamer score on promotions and stuff.

I've thought about it. I'd like it but at the same time I wouldn't. If they made it a separate score I'd totally be down with it.

YES. I want the console to unlock perks and killstreaks so I can create MUH LOWD-OUT.

*1000 hours of playtime-a cupholder perk is unlocked on the side of the Xbox
*2000 hours of playtime- sleight of hand is unlocked increasing trigger response time
*Play 25 games - Unlock a new Tiger skin for my Xbox
*Seriously 4.0 - Xbox turns into a Decepticon and is controllable for 15 seconds.

I just hope more developers embrace the older ideals of having unlockables in game as a more rewarding achievement than a seemingly empty gamerscore. It's just depressing that almost all unlockables are DLC now.

Achievements are nice, but unlockables are better.

I love achievements and want them to implemented in the next console, (mainly because they help prolong the games I buy with an increasingly shrinking game budget) but I want them to give me more than a useless number.

They were considering the concept with things like watching movies and listening to music. I remember when I (was one of the few) had a Zune, they had achievement-like badges for listening to music or certain artists "X" amount of times
