I don't necessarily agree with that point.
If someone breaks my stuff, and I do in fact sue them, and either lose the case or they just never pay the judgment, at that point I think I am justified in retaliating in some measure. Sometimes payback or revenge can indeed be a healing form of closure.
I'm not saying the law views it that way though.
