Digital or Physical: How do you prefer your Video Games?

#61AnonymousFriendPosted 2/10/2013 4:32:50 PM
As a person who recently has their home invaded and every game, movie, and albun stolen, I'm will alway prefer digital over physical.

I have multiple portible memory devices, so backing up my digital content many times is no issue.

And how many items have been delisted? Two? Three? And how many of them were things of note?

The only barrier that would keep me back is price.

Physical, and I hope digital never becomes mandatory (at least for most games)

Slightly leaning towards digital.

I'd be prepared to fully do away with physical entirely if it was easier to connect with PC's to transfer full games/saves/DLC content. I'd actually set aside a machine/harddrive to store ALL my purchased content. I'm not too keen on the idea of deleting things I'm not playing because I can just download it later again... So I'm constantly downloading 15gb files and hoping nothing I once had has been de-listed.

It's also worth noting that it's only happened a couple of times so far.... But it only makes sense that it would be something that would increase in occurance as time goes on and licencing changes hands.

For my handhelds and PC I prefer DD and for my home consoles I say either... But am thinking physical since MS won't let us install our own hard drives...

Those have finite lifespans.

Try more like 50+.....
