Which of these games should I try?

Dragons Dogma
Witcher 2
Far Cry 3
Dark souls

I have just bought and finished dead island, so I have reservations about far cry 3 despite the hype. Unless its really that good It might be too much to play more first-person tropical island.

Far Cry 3 or The Witcher 2, they're both great games

Those are all awesome. Take a break from the tropical, though-- if you're not going to enjoy the environment, the open world is wasted in FC3. Of the other three, I had the most fun with Dragon's Dogma, but Dark Souls is the probably the best game. Maybe.

Nice list. Some of the best games this gen.

Dragons Dogma is epic, my first 100% but you might want to wait on the Dark Arisen pack coming out soon.

Dark Souls is very hard (no matter what anyone says) I rage quit over a year ago. Went back few months ago & completed it then completed NG+ to get 100% there's an expansion for that as well. It's good as well.

Both the community's are great with those two games, if you get one and need help give me a pm I have all gear on both.

I'm currently playing Far Cry! It's really good & a nice break to rpg's. it's very relaxing & one of the best fps i've played. You can get all pre owned dlc now for 800mp.

The Witcher 2 is a game I'm very interested in. I've made a post on that board asking some questions that might help you.

The Witcher 2 is the most important out of the bunch. Far Cry 3 is great too. The others you can leave alone or at the very least wait for Dragon's Dogma's Dark Risen thingy.

No problem. The community is really good & I have some very experienced players on my friends list who will help you also. My GT is: memphis122006. Any questions just pm me. Enjoy!

PS: Block is your best friend , PYRO is good for beginners (OP'd later on) & if you see skeletons you're going the wrong way ;-)

About dragons dogma, I played Dragon Age 1 and 2 on the PC and loved them both. My fear is that it might feel watered-down in comparison to that. It seems like Dragon Age but minus the story quality and the lore. Is this an unfair assumption? Also, is the 'pawn' system important and does it slow down combat?
