GTA hasn't been good since Vice City, so it won't be anything new.


I agree, I've tried a few times to get into SA and couldn't. And even though I beat IV it was more out of stubbornness than anything.

Ok, that's fine. But this topic is about what you're going to think if GTA5 continues R* philosophy of heavily scripted and linear missions including "cheat" races.

I don't mind being the minority opinion.

I loved GTA IV as well as the DLC
I loved Red Dead Redemption as well as it's DLC
I loved L.A. Noire as well as it's DLC

I'm buying GTA 5 day 1.

Me and you both. The TC is talking rubbish R* make great games. Ok maybe Vice City is the best GTA but thats not to say San Andreas and GTA 4 (especially the DLC) were not great games.

There's nothing in the past few GTA's I didn't like. I loved them and I'm sure I'll love the new one.

I don't get how people can say vice city is better then sa, maybe story wise , but gameplay wise it's blows vice city out the water. I think it's a race thing

I love people who automatically think gamers are racist for liking VC over SA.

Gritty thug-land or cheesy 80's Neon.

Not exactly tough for some of us to decide which one's more fun to run around in. Especially people like me who grew up with A-HA blasting on the car stereos.
