Our source even claims to have played some Durango games, describing the graphical leap from current-gen console gaming like going from playing Halo 2 on an original Xbox to playing Crysis on a powerful PC.

I don't have the links but I've seen a couple article where developers were quoted saying how the leap in graphics will surprise us as it's much more than people are expecting.

Doubtful but Crysis isn't really that impressive anymore and it's more about physics and particles and such now moreso than outright graphical appearance.

I doubt it, but it's not impossible. Graphics don't have any effect on games anyway.
Baseless prediction as of 01/04/13 : the next Xbox will be called the Xbox On.

They're suggesting that the graphical jump will be from an Xbox game to some of the best the 360 is capable of. Maybe. I still question whether the 360 is capable of really handling Crysis entirely, but when you take away a lot of those bells and whistles (pretty killer physics on it as well as graphics) it's not nearly the same as well
