I play both but, I tend to enjoy TPS more because in a FPS the screen can feel tight and constricting occassionally.

i liked that deus ex HR mashed the two together.

honestly though, they have always been really similar to me. i guess third person shooters are better because you never have to worry about your feet getting stuck on stupid little corners that you wouldn't see in the first person perspective

I enjoy FPS more, but I'm definitely willing to play a good TPS, especially if it has coop.

FPS is probably my favorite genre, when done right they can be so immersive.

If I had to choose...third person, because I love animations.

I do love FPS immersion, though.

3rd person is immersion breaking and it took a long time for them to "feel" right and now that they finally do it's only because of copying how FPSs control, LS = legs RS=head

Why would I want to look at my character looking at the environment when I can just look at it myself?
